Hi everyone, my surgery was 2 weeks agao and im doing just fine. The staff at the hospital and at the hotel were very profesional, and accomidating.. The food at the hotel was great, and the rooms were also very nice.. On theat note! When you check in to the hotel you really need to ask for a room opposite of the music club, as we didnt get a wink of sleep our first night..Also the most important thing you need is to bring your own pain meds, gas x strips = a lot of them....and some nausea pills.. the meds that the hospital give you just dont do the job..I would recomend talking to your doctor, telling him or her what you are having done, and having them perscribe some GOOD medications that you can take with you...Its just wouldnt be fun not having the ability to do something about your pain miles away from your doctor, and in another country where most of the people dont speak english... Hope this helps you on your visit to getting your weight back down to where you want it.. PS...The nurses and the staff at the hotel were a grate help to us, i dont think they make a grate hourly wage, it wouldnt be a bad idea to bring some extra cash to tip them out before you leave, im sure they would appriciate it very much.....
