My gastric sleeve was successful in all areas. The surgery went without any problems. The nursing staff was wonderful and attentive to my needs and comfort. The hotel and staff were accommodating, courteous, and helpful. I did not have any nausea during my stay, however I did occasionally have vomiting while at home the 1st week after, but not too bad. My surgery was on the 3rd of September and I have already lost 25 pounds. Of course some of this was due to the liquid fast for pre-op. I am very pleased each day I wake up and see a little less of "me" in the mirror. I used to never look below the neck, now I am excited to see my body melt away before my eyes. The "rolls" are rolling off...LOL. I am one of many that have tried so many diets, diet aids, weight loss programs, gyms, the list goes on. I would loose 20 lbs, feel good and then gain my weight plus an additional 10-20 lbs back in a few months. I wish I had all the money that I invested in "miracle" cures and products and clothing over the course of my life. This surgery is a life save,r for my future held blood presser meds and insulin, which I would not do.
Good luck to all who have had this procedure and all who are next. Any minimal discomfort felt in the beginning is well worth the results of a better body and healthier lifestyle.
