When I first got to the hospital I was extremely nerves. They did all the test needed. I was taken upstairs for what I thought was more test but turned out I was having surgery the same day. I was so nervous and it was hard because my loved ones didn't know I was going into surgery the same day. Thank god for one guy who took me to surgery. His English was perfect and he talked to me and made me forget about everything. Next thing I know I'm being woken up to move to a wheel chair. I was a little worried due to I was not fully woken up and I personally struggled to wake up from the Anesthesia. I am not sure if that was normal I tried asking but communication is very difficult there. My recovery was good. The staff was super nice. There was only two things that bothered me one I feel like more people should have spoke English considering how many Americans come there. Two when my tube was being removed they had a new girl do it and she kept stabbing me with the blade when removing the stitches to the tube. Other than that everyone was super nice and helpful. If you ever have pain or your nauseous they will come right away. They encourage you to walk which made it sooooo much easier when I finally got back home. I didn't loose any weight for the first week and there was two weeks where I was stuck at the same weight. So all in all I've been losing weight for 5 weeks and I have lost a total of 20 kilograms / 44 pounds. I have dropped 3 shirt sizes and 2 pant sizes in that little time. It's been a journey without a doubt, but it's been worth it. I appreciate the hospital staff the customer service staff and all the surgical team for changing my Life forever. I wish everyone who reads this the best of luck on their journey. It is a hard road at first but stick too it exercise eat right and you will drop the pounds.
