I took extra steps to improve my quality of life by eating a vegan diet for 2 years afterwards and working out.

I can easily say that this was the best decision I ever made with my health. My joint pain and fatigue are a thing of the past and I love how I look. On the personal side of things, I remember when I was a child and I had to put on my first pair of Huskies size boys jeans. That was the moment that I realized that I would be different from other little kids and I cried. I've carried the emotional weight of obesity for most of my life and when I lost the weight I went to the department store and I tried on those same jeans from my childhood. I cried again as an adult because I was so happy to not have to live with the burden of my weight any longer.
