I have developed significant GERD/reflux over the past couple of years. I believe my diet habits have contributed to the discomfort. Maybe to much coffee and soda. I was taking more antacids each day than normal. I also have had some stress with the pandemic over the past two years. Therefore emotional eating causing weight gain of more than 10 pounds that I couldn't get off. My reflux was getting worse and I was looking for relief from the reflux and the weight gain. The Gastric Bypass is what I chose to have done. I didn't have a lot of weight to lose, but I desperately wanted to get the reflux under control.
Dr Almanza and Weight Loss Agents had not disappointed me in the past. I chose to go with them again for this second surgery. The first ten days post op have been uncomfortable, but I am recovering, feeling better. I haven't lost weight yet, but think this is due to extra fluid in my body coming off slowly.
