Hay my surgery on Feb 2x, 2017 . It has been 3 months since then and I have lost 50 pounds. I started at 287 , eventhough Im a 6'5 dude and people will not think I was obese, my BMI was close to 34 and I didnt feel good when looking at the mirror and having trouble when I need to get my shoes on. Let talk about day to day complications , constipation becomes a real problem since you are selecting most of proteins and no fiber in your diet . Please make sure that you have that planned upfront.
Dr. Choi is someone that cares with a lot of experience so I recommend him to all of you .
But please think that this procedure needs to come with activity, I a gym person so my concern was " how long until I can go back to my weights? " I was back in the gym 1 week after surgery , of course that taking thins slowly .
Picture will be posted when I reach my goal , 10 more pounds to go . Maybe June.
one other thing , the first 3-4 weeks you loose weight super fast . I was loosing 10 pounds a week don't panic.
Today I can sit down and eat whatever I want but maybe 1/4 of what I use to eat and have 1/2 a beer compared to 4 pints.
please If you are thinking of this you will not regret .
Best luck to all of you .
