As most people are, I was nervous traveling abroad for a major surgery. My comfort zone is small and going light years out of it was difficult, but it was for a good purpose. The experience as a whole was very easy to handle. The hotel and it's staff were all very nice and accommodating, especially the on call nursing staff. Nestor the van driver was a very laid back guy who was happy to answer your questions. The clinic staff were all very pleasant, and Dr. Almanza was very laid back and excited to help people with this big life change.

With all that being said, I have had a few issues post-op that, in hindsight would have convinced me to save the money to have it done at home where I'm most comfortable. At 9 weeks post op, I am in the process of figuring out why I have nausea and near vomiting many times a day, usually on an empty stomach. Local GE doctor and Bariatric Surgeon here have yet to determine the cause.

Complications aside, without question, the people at Weight Loss Agents and the team in Tijuana were exceptional and I would absolutely recommend them, and Dr. Almanza.
