WOW....Do I feel like a new person! If you are on the fence about doing this, DO THIS!

Today is 3 months since I had my surgery. Everything is healing good, I feel good and I can do so much more than I could do 3 months ago. My surgery has almost paid for itself because I don't buy kegs of Diet Coke anymore, don't waste money going out to eat and only buy what I can eat. I am down 48 lbs today and I should hit my goal of 50 lbs by the 15th.

In the past month, I have really focused on making sure I get my protein in so I have more energy. So I drink a protein drink every morning, have a yogurt or maybe watermelon in the afternoon, have a protein bar, then a few bites of dinner at night. I love the watermelon because you can eat and drink at the same time. haha! I have to watch eating on the run and make sure I stay in a routine. I tend to eat too fast if I am out and about just out of habit and that still hurts a little going down. Luckily it reminds you to slow down.

The best part is now when I take my grandkids to Lagoon (amusement park) I can fit in some rides that I have not been able to for over 15 years. I will post a pic of me sitting in the swings for the first time in 15 years which is my favorite ride. My spouse even said I was looking good the other day. Yay, bonus!

DO IT AND DONT WAIT...YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
