Hi everyone! I'll start from the beginning. I was on Facebook, and noticed one of my classmates had lost a bunch of weight in a short amount of time. I messaged him, and asked him for the secret. He said, "No secret, I left my stomach in Tijuana!" (85% of his stomach). He had his surgery with Dr Almanza in June, and to date, he has lost 111 lbs! So, I contacted WeightLossAgents.com and followed his footsteps. I had my surgery 4 weeks ago. I have lost 28 lbs so far :) The only exersice I have done is walking, and to be honest, besides going shopping at the mall, I have only gone to the walk park once. So, the lbs are dropping off just because I'm not able to eat the amounts I did before surgery. I will however get back to the gym & use the elliptical machine soon, as I have been waiting for the 6 week mark to approach.

Now, let's get back to post op. Expect to feel blah the first week. Surgery was just done, and your body is healing itself. All my energy was gone the first 5 days. On the 6th day, my energy returned, and I was back to work. I had no problems working in my office setting. I did bring a blanket the first few days, and took a nap on my lunch break to recharge. It helped.

The worst thing for me was swallowing properly. I am used to drinking a half a glass of water in a few quick gulps. That is not possible after surgery. You have to sip, sip, sip. It will hurt if you take a swallow the first couple of weeks post surgery. I am able to swallow more now, but I have to burp a lot to evacuate all the air in my stomach. Otherwise, my stomach feels bloated. I have had quite a bit of acid reflux. I hope that subsides in the upcoming weeks.

If I had it to do over again, I would definitely have the surgery. I, for the first time, see an end to my weight loss battle. I look forward to the future, with excitement. I feel more and more beautiful with every passing day. And I know this is permanent. I asked Dr Almanza right before surgery if our stomaches could stretch back out over time, and he said no. So, I know I don't have to worry about regaining.

Good Luck to everyone reading my testimonial :) I hope I have enlightened you.

God Bless,

Susie
